Auckland Festival of Photography Event
Please join us for the opening of Ted Scott’s exhibition: The Apprentice on June 6th 5:30 pm
at the West Auckland Research Centre, J. T. Diamond Reading Room and Gallery (level 2 Waitakere Central Library, 3 Ratanui Street, Henderson)
Landscape photographer Ted Scott was a teenage printer’s apprentice in London in the 1960s. On his first camera he captured images of Teddy Boys, ban the bomb protestors and derelict Victorian tenements in a City which inspired his emigration to New Zealand.
Ted will also be giving two gallery talks – he is a charming raconteur and story teller
