Beautiful pohutukawa at 94 Seaview Road before damage by removal truck
Auckland Council will be undertaking remedial tree pruning outside the following addresses on Piha Rd and Seaview Rd tomorrow (Friday 25 March 2011):

17 Piha Rd
63 Seaview Rd

This work is required to repair unauthorised cutting of trees growing on the roadside berm which was undertaken today during a house moving operation by Andrews Housemovers. The Council will be looking to recover the cost of the remedial tree work from the housemoving company and have also informed the enforcement section of the Council about the actions of the company for investigation into a breach of the District Plan.
The local Residents & Ratepayers association and interest groups will also be sent this information.
