New larger recycle bins are being delivered throughout Waitakere over the next month. These will replace the older smaller recycle bins. Residents will be notified what to do with the old bins in due course.

New recycling starts from 1 July. At that time you can include paper and cardboard in your new bins along with other recylables. Previously, paper had to be put out separately.

If there is a reason the new bin is too large for you, you can apply for a smaller bin. This will apply to people with long, difficult drives or people who find it hard to move the larger new bin. If you have any queries ring 09 3010101.
