DESCRIPTION:We all want access to our beloved Waitākere Ranges tracks and we would like to understand when repairs will be made and access available for Lion Rock\, Tasman Lookout \, Kitekite Falls and more.\nPiha R&R has arranged for a community Update at Barnett Hall at 7:00pm on Wed. November 12th.\nUpdates are expected on tracks and other recent infrastructure proposals\, (toilet proposals\, Mill Camp \, Nigel O’Hanlon Hut\, Surf Club access Karekare)\, storm damage repairs\, and any new capital expenditure projects.\nRegional Parks Manager Scott DeSilva and Principal Ranger\, Western Regional Parks\, David Markham will be making the presentation focusing on the Piha\, Karekare\, Anawhata area. They will be accompanied by Auckland Council Kauri Dieback(KDB) specialits Sarah Killick and Shannon Hunter to present the Council perspective on the issues surrounding Kauri Dieback.
