New design for Piha clubhouse unveiled

Piha Nippers win Karma Fund, new boogie boards on their way

Piha SLSC got right behind its Nippers to win the Localist Karma Fund prize for the West. The $4000 prize will go towards training for Nippers 5-13 years old and 30 boogie boards for Tadpoles 5-7 years. Watch for those brand new boards on the beach in no time.

Piha was the first surf club on the West Coast, started in 1934 by a group of five young men from Waitemata Rugby Club, who had started coming to Piha when one built a bach.
