Coast Gallery - FINDING
FABRIC - RECYCLED DOLLS CLAIRE INWOOD
This group
of dolls in made from cast-off clothing, jewellery, trimmings
and fabric scraps.
Many of the materials have been retrieved from Op Shops, or passed on
by women who saved and reused resources their whole lives, practising
traditional home crafts.
It continues Claire's love of recycling and handsewing and incorporates some
objects from our wonderful surroundings in Piha. |
